Meet Phil Hotsenpiller

Throughout his career, Phil Hotsenpiller has worked extensively on issues at the nexus of leadership, artistry, and spirituality. Previously, he served as adjunct professor in a division of Southern Theological Seminary and Union Theological Seminary.

Phil has spoken on leadership and theology throughout Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Romania, Yugoslavia, and France, working with the European Team of Christian Associates International in the area of leadership development. He was one of twenty-five selected to serve on the Pastor’s Task Force for the War on Drugs organized by former U.S. Drug Czar William Bennett.

Phil currently serves as the Teaching Pastor of Friends Church in Yorba Linda Southern California. Friends Church is a church of four thousand-five hundred in weekly attendance and was recently recognized as one of the 100-fastest growing churches in the United States.

Phil received his education in history, religion, political science, and English literature at Southwest Baptist University. He earned his Master of Divinity from N.O.B.T.S. and post-graduate studies at Christ Church College, Oxford University.

Currently, Phil resides in Orange County, California with his wife Tammy, author of the entertainment guide Taste of Humanity.
